Windrush 75 Gospel Choir Workshop
We are hosting a gospel music workshop on Wednesday 28 June, 3:45-6:20pm in the Hall for students, parents, carers and staff of MHS, V6, Fairlawn and Dolphin Schools. Gospel music is deeply rooted in culture and history that played a significant role in the Windrush generation's story. We are hosting a workshop This workshop will provide both children and adults with an opportunity to:
- Broaden your appreciation for gospel music and the Windrush generation's history.
- Explore gospel choir singing skills like vocal techniques, rhythm and harmony.
- Learn and perform some great gospel songs.
- Listen and appreciate music performances from participating schools.
- Boost confidence, improve mood, make new friends and have some fun!
- Enjoy a unique bonding experience for parents, children and school communities to learn together in a safe and supportive environment.
